CVI Melles Griot
Serie IF is an uncoated window substrate, polished on two sides, with a wedge of 30±5 arc minutes. Therefore, they form the foundation for several coated products, such as, W1, W2, beamsplitters, output couplers, harmonic separators, dichroic mirrors, and partial reflectors.
- Substrate material: Suprasil 1, UV grade fused silica or BK7
- Wedge tolerance: 30 ±5 minutes
- Diameter φ+0/-0.25 mm
- Reflected beams from both surfaces separately usable
- Output coupler, beamsplitter, or beam-sampling substrate
- λ/10 transmitted wavefront, 10-5 surface quality
Transmission and Reference Flats

TF & RF series Transmission flats are mounted on interferometers to measure flat substrates.
- Material: Fused Silica - Transmission flat
- Material: zeroduc glass - reference flat
- Surface figure: λ20 at 633nm - reference surface
- Anti-reflection coated: transmission flat-reference surface uncoated
- Wedge surface R ≤0.25% at 633nm
Transmission Spheres
CVI Melles Griot
Serie TSC Transmission spheres are used to measure convex or concav spherical surfaces.They are designed to fit most commercially available interferometers, including the Zygo® 33mm although at a different f/#.
- Substrate material: Fused Silica
- Surface figure: λ10 at 633nm
- 2" and 4" clear apertures standard
- Compatible with standard bayonet-style GPI mounts
